Personal Communications Devices' Philip Christopher Re-elected to CTIA - The Wireless Association® Executive Committee
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. -- Personal Communications Devices, LLC (PCD), a leading provider of wireless devices to service providers in North and South America for more than 25 years, today announced Philip Christopher, President and CEO of PCD, has been re-elected to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of CTIA -The Wireless Association®. Mr. Christopher will serve a one year term beginning January 1, 2012.
CTIA is the premier trade organization for the wireless industry. As a member of the Executive Committee, Mr. Christopher will work with other committee members to review and define the association’s policies, goals and position on issues and legislation affecting the industry.
"CTIA has been a leading voice in the wireless industry for years,” Christopher said. "I am proud to again serve on the Executive Committee and work with fellow industry executives to help shape this voice.”
Christopher has been actively involved in the wireless industry since 1983. He was first elected to the Board of Directors of CTIA in 1999, and has served on the Executive Committee from 1999 – 2001 and July 2003 - present.
